UCU STRIKE ACTION NOTICE: PAPER 0 LECTURES THAT ARE SCHEDULED FOR LENT TERM 2018 CANCELLED

Given the continuation of the UCU strike action, which we support, the two reminding lectures (6th and 13th of March) of Paper 0 are cancelled. We will do all we can to re-schedule these talks at the beginning of next academic year.

Paper 0 is an alternative course on economics organised and lectured by social science and humanities Ph.D. students at the University of Cambridge. The objective of Paper 0 is to introduce students to a wide range of topics and methodologies that are not usually taught in university economics degrees. Paper 0 is part of the initiative to reform the economic curriculum which at Cambridge is led by the Cambridge Society for Economic Pluralism.

Paper 0 was successfully launched in Lent Term 2013/14 and proved popular among many undergraduate and graduate students of economics as well as students of other subjects. Since the academic year 2014/15 Paper 0 has been running 8 lectures in Michaelmas Term and 8 lectures in Lent Term. All students who attend a minimum of 50% of the lectures receive a signed diploma (although no university credit is given for the course).
